Awarness CampaignThis project focused on developing a human trafficking awareness campaign through a cohesive set of designed materials aimed at reaching a broad audience. I created a primary poster as the central piece, along with a brochure, bus stop advertisement, stickers, buttons, and Instagram posts to extend the message across both physical and digital spaces. The designs incorporated strong typography, custom icons, impactful imagery, and quote-based messaging to communicate urgency and awareness. The process involved extensive sketching and exploration, especially through developing multiple logo concepts and iterations to establish a clear and effective visual identity. Overall, the project highlights my ability to build a unified campaign system that balances visual impact with meaningful, socially driven communication.
I began with in depth research on human trafficking to better understand the issue, its impact, and the organizations working to combat it. I developed multiple user personas to identify different target audiences and tailor the messaging to be more effective and relatable. This phase helped guide the direction of the campaign by informing tone, visual choices, and overall communication strategy
The final poster uses bold typography and layered red blocks to highlight key warning signs of human trafficking, creating a sense of urgency and visual intensity. A halftone portrait in the background adds an emotional, human element while allowing the information to remain the focal point. The composition guides the viewer through the message, ending with a clear call to action that encourages awareness, recognition, and response.
From there, the designs were translated into buttons, allowing the message to become more interactive and easily distributed. Finally, the campaign expanded into a shirt as a promotional piece, turning the design into a wearable form that helps spread awareness in everyday settings. This Instagram post extends the campaign into social media, using a familiar platform to reach a wider and younger audience. The design breaks information into swipeable slides, making it easier to digest while guiding viewers through awareness, real examples, and safety tips. By using bold typography and clear messaging within a social format, the post encourages engagement while educating users on how to recognize and avoid trafficking-related scams online. The brochure organizes complex information about human trafficking into a clear, structured layout that guides the viewer from understanding the issue to recognizing warning signs and taking action. It uses strong typographic hierarchy, icons, and contrasting color blocks to separate sections like definitions, signs, and how trafficking happens, making the content easy to navigate. The inclusion of a survivor testimony and actionable steps adds an emotional and practical layer, encouraging viewers not only to learn but to respond.
